I have been traveling to many amazing hunting destinations over the years. I wanted to take a minute to showcase one of my favorites. I had a unique opportunity to meet Jim Boone the owner of Red Bluff Lodge at the Eastern Sports Show last February. Upon enjoying his company…the Hollywood Hunter was invited to showcase his lodge on my show for my first ever gator hunt.
I was so excited for this adventure because of many things. First off, my bride Jeannie Mai was going to be assisting me on this adventure. Over the past 2 years of creating Hollywood Hunter, I have been blessed by her support. To get her out in the field with me is another story until now.
There is something about staying in a first class lodge and at night heading out on the boat with spot lights, electronic calls, spears, band sticks, and my bow. I have always wanted to experience a hunt like this and now having the opportunity, you all need to give it a try.
Jeannie was totally out of her element to say the least. I was very impressed with her abilities to adapt to her crazy husbands passion. With the Hollywood Hunter Crew catching every element of suspense…we have created a gator episode like no other. Check out the picture of this 10′ 3″ gator I shot with the NEW Z7 Extreme.
